Charlton Athletic have made a late loan swoop for former Blues fan favourite, David Davis, according to the reliable Pete O’Rourke of Football Insider.

Blues are stocked in the centre-midfield position at the minute, yet Davis has made a total of 16 appearances in the first half of this season for Blues.
His performances have come with some fair criticism but also some praise as the midfielder has had some solid and some poor performances, with his consistency being the biggest problem surrounding amongst Blues fans.
Davis is regarded as a hard-tackling, ball-winner with his breaking up of play being the strongest part of his game, arguably not fitting the type of football we had set out to play this season. Yet, Davis has found a starting place fairly regularly recently, and especially in away games as Blues adopt a more cynical, defensive structure and play-style when not playing at home.
Happy with this Blues fans?
