The St Andrews faithful nervously await news of the extent of Scott Hogan’s injury as he was forced off as a late sub against Brentford at the weekend.

The immediate news was that he sustained an ankle injury and will be assessed before the visit of Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

The Ireland International has been more than impressive in his first 4 games at Blues, scoring 3 in 3.

With Hogan likely to be out, Blues boss Pep Clotet will face a selection and formation headache as he will have to change the 4-4-2 formation which has served the team very well in recent weeks.

Who will join the Juke in behind? Bellingham? Crowley? We took to Twitter to ask Blues fans who they think:

It seems Crowley gets the early votes with one fan suggesting Pep throws the speed demon Gary Gardner up top.
