Pep Clotet has ‘mutually agreed’ to leave Birmingham City FC with immediate effect after a 1-3 home loss to Swansea City.

Clotet was set to leave at the end of the season anyway, but a malaise has set in since the club and the coach’s decision to announce that news.

The board added:

“He was due to step down at the season’s end but it was mutually agreed that he should relinquish the role immediately.”

“The board would like to place on record its sincere thanks to Pep for his efforts during the past two years.”

“We will be making no further comment at this time”

Blues might not be commenting, but as the rotating door to the Wast Hills manager’s office continues to spin, Bluenoses have plenty to talk about.

Do you think there should be a permanent manager appointed now or a current member of back room staff until the end of the season.
