Scott Hogan has returned to Birmingham City on a permanent deal after a 6 month loan last season.

the striker has signed for a currently undisclosed fee from rivals Aston Villa. The villains were keen to offload Hogan as he had no part in Dean Smith’s plans for the season.

The Irish Forward scored 7 goals in his first 8 appearances for the Blues last season.

Hogan is a clinical finisher with a sharp burst of pace going forward and Birmingham will likely be hoping for at least 10 goals from the striker this season.

Despite a post lockdown blip, Blues fans will be hoping that new manager Aitor Karanka can get Hogan firing again.

The new signing gives Karanka very different options up front now with The workhorse and target man in Lukas Jutkiewicz, pace and power of Jonathan Leko and the poaching and finishing ability of Scott Hogan.
