A strong defensive display saw Birmingham leave Wales with a hard earned draw, but who performed the best individually?

Neil Etheridge: 8*

A very classy debut from the new blues shot stopper. The keeper dominated the box when Swansea had a corner and made a brilliant save late on to hold onto his clean sheet.

Maxime Colin: 7

Colin had a solid game against the Swans. He rarely made a mistake and was part of a very strong defensive backline.

Harlee Dean: 7

The Blues skipper continued his excellent partnership with George Friend, a duo that are yet to concede this season.

George Friend: 7

Like the rest of the defence, Friend was very hard to break down and did a good job at centre back.

Kristian Pedersen: 6.5

The Danish defender was caught out of position a few times but linked up well with Bela down the left flank and helped the side maintain the clean sheet.

Adam Clayton: 6

After impressing against Brentford, Clayton was quite error prone today and gave the ball away on many occasions, hopefully just an anomaly for the veteran.

Ivan Sunjic: 7.5

An improvement from last weeks outing for Sunjic despite stacking up a collection of fouls. The Croat didn’t stop running all game and won the majority of his aerial duels.

Jon Toral: 6.5

Toral made a lot of good runs and had the right idea on many occasions, but failed to execute a fair amount of his passes.

Ivan Sánchez: 7.5

Definitely one of the most impressive signings this season and seems an absolute steal to get him for free. The Winger worked tirelessly and constantly put quality balls into the box.

Jeremie Bela: 6.5

A lot of fancy flick and passes but a lack of end product from Bela. Seemed to lose a bit of steam in the last 10 minutes.

Lukas Jutkiewicz: 7

A typical display from the Juke, worked incredibly hard all game and won practically every header he challenged for.  Possibly should’ve scored from a corner opportunity but can’t fault the target man today.

Gary Gardner: 6.5

* = Man of the match.
