Two late penalties saw the match end as a one all draw, but who was the star player for Birmingham?
Neil Etheridge 7
Birmingham’s shotstopper had very little to do against the Millers, couldn’t keep out the late Rotherham penalty but looked solid for the majority of the match.
Maxime Colin 8
The French full-back linked up very well with Ivan Sanchez down the right hand side. A good performance for Colin and a rating to match.
Harlee Dean 7
The skipper made one poor backpass that was nearly capitalised on by Rotherham but other than that looked very solid at the back. “El Capítan” also had a goal disallowed in the first half for offside.
George Friend 8.5*
Friend continued his excellent form since signing for Blues. Commanded the defense and made multiple surging runs forward. An all round Brilliant display.
Kristian Pedersen 6
For the 3rd week in a row Pedersen was the weak link in the backline, didn’t play awfully but gave away many fouls in dangerous positions which could’ve cost the team.
Adam Clayton 6
Made lots of inaccurate passes looked a bit lost on occasions, Middlesbrough fans could be right when they said his legs had gone a few years ago.
Ivan Sunjic 7
The Croat wasn’t too busy for most of the match and a lot of play went over his head, had a chance in the first half which was poorly taken but not a bad game for Sunjic.
Jeremie Bela 7
A quiet first half for the Frenchman but played with a lot more intent in the second half and got the better of Ex- Blues player Wes Harding on a few occasions
Ivan Sánchez 8
Sánchez is showing signs that he could be the best player in the entire Blues squad after the first 3 games, nearly scored from a powerful free kick.
Scott Hogan 7.5
Hogan looked very sharp on his debut and created many chances but Jutkiewicz couldn’t find the goal with any of them.
Lukas Jutkiewicz 6.5
Juke missed many chances in the game including an open goal and a chance from about 2 yards out. He did get into many good positions though and would’ve scored a few on a different day.
