Blues have brought in familiar face, Jake Clarke-Salter on loan from Chelsea for a second time, as announced by journalist Richard Wilford.

Blues boss Aitor Karanka said in his press conference yesterday that business is very much still open right up until 4.59pm today when the domestic window draws to a close.

Albeit leaving it late for this announcement, that won’t bother the St Andrew’s faithful one bit!

Blues fans will be pleased with this addition after the 23-year-old impressed during his previous loan move at the club last campaign.

The central defender was a big part in Blues’ resolute and unbeaten pre-lockdown performances last term which ultimately was enough to remain in the Championship.

This news begs the question of who makes the starting lineup with Harlee Dean now living up to his expectations so far this season and George Friend a key figure on and off the pitch.

It’s also worth noting Marc Roberts’ future looks to be in doubt after this addition and will throw him further down the pecking order.
