FA Cup tie’s don’t come much tougher than Sunday’s third round clash away at Manchester City. In any normal season, the task would look less daunting with ten thousand or so Bluenoses taking over the recently developed South Stand behind the goal. Aitor Karanka’s side head to the Eithad well out of form taking only one point out of a possible eighteen. However, anything can happen in the FA Cup.. right?

Both sides have veered in contrasting directions since the last meeting between the two sides in September 2011 with the hosts trophy count rising by thirteen (Including three Charity Shields) in that time. 

Blues, who have had little to shout about since beating Arsenal 2-1 in the 2011 League Cup final will need just about everything to go their way if they are to produce another giant killing and reach the fourth round this weekend.
