Blues eyeing up move for Crystal Palace striker
Birmingham are keeping tabs on Crystal Palace frontman Connor Wickham in a bid to sort out their goal drought.
According to journalist Alan Nixon (below), Blues and Bristol have both enquired about his availability and if Palace are willing to let him go.

Blues’ striking problems carry on as they have failed to score in four of their last six games in the Championship.
Wickham is returning to full fitness after being out for a while with injury. The 27-year-old will be desperate for game time to build that fitness.
A loan or permanent move away from Selhurst Park could interest both parties, as his contract expires in the Summer.

The Englishman is a familiar face in the Championship, making 100 appearances, scoring 24 goals and making eight assists.
More recently, Wickham had a fairly successful loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday, making 13 appearances and netting two goals last term.
Making a total of 50 appearances in total for Palace after his move to the London club back in 2015, the forward has been plagued with injuries over the years which will definitely be a risk if Blues do bring him in.
Blues fans will no doubt welcome a more recognised goal scorer into the team as Karanka continues to try and steer his team away from the relegation zone. Wickham could well be the man to get Blues firing again.
