You may have seen the open letter being banded around social media yesterday. Well, the creator of it has taken it to the next level and made it into a banner for all eyes to see outside the Wast Hills training ground.
Sporting pictures of historical moments held in many Blues fans’ hearts, with the likes of Paul Tait, Jude Bellingham, Trevor Francis, and Paul Caddis, it reads:
We know it’s been a tough season. We understand and can see your frustrations, but…THIS SATURDAY IS A CUP FINAL! EVERY GAME NOW IS A CUP FINAL!
You are all custodians of our beloved football club. It’s time to dig deep and play for the badge, and play for us, the fans.
We need leaders on the pitch on Saturday. We need you to stand up. You need to believe you can take three points and begin to turn our season around.

The banner was pinned up before today’s training session as Karanka takes his side up to Sheffield tonight in preparation for Saturday’s crunch game at the bottom of the division.
After today’s training session, many players were quick to post their appreciation of the banner, with captain Harlee Dean, Kristian Pedersen, and goalkeeper Prieto all sharing on their Instagram stories:

A big thank you to everyone who helped spread the word and all the fanpages that have come together to share and get this up and running.
Attention turns to Saturday, which is no doubt a six-pointer. At least now the fans can hold their heads up high and say they’ve done their bit. It’s over to the players now…
