The 20-year-old has played as a box to box midfielder for most of his early career. His defensive traits are similar to Blues’ new recruit Ryan Woods in terms of mopping up in midfield and picking out a pass to get an attack flowing.
Skipping past players with ease, Baiye is also not short of pace and can also operate on the wing if required.
If Blues are able to pull this one off it will no doubt be one, if not the best pieces of transfer business in this summer transfer window for Blues as Lee Bowyer looks to continue to bolster his squad ahead of the new Championship campaign.
