The 22-year-old was on loan at the London club back in 2019 where he scored 5 goals in 21 appearances.

Unable to find the net in 38 appearances for Blues, he is needing game time to improve his form as new striker Troy Deeney arrives and cements his place in the starting lineup.
This would definitely be an ideal move for both parties and with him knowing Charlton already, he might be able to hit the ground running faster than if he signed for another club.
That being said, his confidence seems to be shot, but a move to Charlton could help him rediscover his form and get him firing again.
