Blues have been reported to be eyeing up a move for Norwich City winger Przemyslaw Placheta, according to Polish news outlet Meczyki (via The Pinkun).

The seven-timed capped Polish international appeared 14 times for Dean Smith’s side last season, starting just six of those.

The 24-year-old moved to Norfolk back in 2020 from Slask Wroclaw and has racked up 41 appearances for the Canaries since.

The report states any move for the winger is likely to be a loan with an option to buy.

The £1.62m rated man graduated from RB Leipzig’s youth academy and played with very high intensity, similar to that of former Norwich loanee Onel Hernandez.

However, while Blues are the only club named in the report, it is understood there are several other Championship clubs interested.

Blues boss Lee Bowyer and more so Technical Director Craig Gardner have yet another huge task of bringing talent to St Andrews before the new campaign kicks off on July 30th.

With the departures of Jeremie Bela and Kristian Pedersen, it leaves the left-hand side of the pitch looking very sparse so this link will ease the worrying thoughts of the St Andrews faithful.
