Blues transfer target Przemyslaw Placheta has reportedly attracted interest from outside of the UK with AEK Athens keeping tabs on his situation.

The Norwich man has been the subject of interest from a number of Championship clubs, with Blues being the only one named earlier this week.

Now it seems more clubs are eyeing up a move for the Norwich City winger with Greek Super League side AEK Athens now in the mix, according to Polish journalist Tomasz Włodarczyk.

It has been claimed the move will be a loan with a view to buy as Lee Bowyer looks to bolster his attacking options before the start of the new campaign.

Płacheta joined the Canaries in 2020 for around €3million and has appeared 43 times, scoring once and three assists.

With representing his country in Qatar later this year in mind, a move to gain regular first-team football would be beneficial for the 24-year-old.

At the moment Dean Smith currently has Milot Rashica, Christos Tzolis, and former Blues loanee Onel Hernandez at his disposal on the flanks.

Blues are in desperate need of cover on the flanks as both Jeremie Bela and Kristian Pedersen have moved on from the club leaving just Jordan Graham and Ivan Sanchez the most recognised widemen.
