Norwich City winger Przemyslaw Placheta is set to complete a loan move to Birmingham City next week, according to reports in Poland.

The 24-year-old was first linked with Blues last week, with several Championship clubs also interested.

However, it looks like the winger is set to complete a loan move to Blues following the end of his summer break, according to Polish media outlet Meczyki.

Placheta is one of several Norwich players on an extended break after participating in Nations League matches in June.

AEK Athens were also recently linked with a move for Placheta, who made just 12 appearances for the Canaries in the Premier League last season.

Blues have only announced one signing so far this summer, albeit in the form of former Aston Villa and West Brom trainee Finley Thorndike, who will join up with the U23 side.

With exactly 30 days until the new campaign starts, Blues fans are worried there won’t be many new faces coming through the door.

With the takeover saga also in limbo, it’s anyone’s guess what will happen in the next few weeks.
