Hull City have agreed to sign Blues midfielder and regular starter Ryan Woods, according to Football Insider.

According to the report, the 28-year-old is already at the MKM stadium undergoing a medical to finalise a permanent move.

Woods, who has been a regular starter so far this season under John Eustace, has made 32 appearances for Blues since joining back in 2021.

This news will be a bit of a shock to the St Andrews faithful as they will wonder who will start in place of him today against Cardiff with new signing Krystian Bielik ‘weeks away’ from full fitness.

Also, Woods did come out yesterday speaking very highly of the Blues boss:

The only confirmation Blues fans will need is if he’ll be in the starting lineup or not come 11:30am this morning.
