With evergrowing monthly website users, we are constantly expanding, and to cope with the high demand for content, we’re looking for passionate Birmingham City fans to join our platform! Please see our current vacancies listed below (please note all roles are voluntary with a view to be paid):
Article Writer
We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated writers to join our team to help keep on top of the latest news and/or offer their opinions with feature articles.
Key skills required:
- Ability to write in English to a sufficient standard
- To be able to work in a dynamic team
- Must commit to providing posts regularly (minimum of 2 posts a week)
- Good knowledge of Birmingham City Football Club
YouTube Content Creator
We’re looking for passionate Blues fans that are confident in front of camera to bring new and exciting content to our new YouTube channel. With over 2,000 subscribers, we aim to bring our audience regular and engaging content. With a regular podcast running, as well as Matchday Vlogs, there are a number of content categories that we’d put forward to you to cover.
These include:
Focus Preview – A short video of you looking ahead to the next fixture.
Opposition View – A segment where you invite a fan/content creator from the rival team Blues are facing that week and talk about how you think the match will pan out and how the rival team has been performing of late.
Final Whistle Match Reaction – A consist 5-10 minute video of you reacting to the game that has just taken place in a confident manner.
Featured Content – We’re open to any ideas that you may have to help bring our channel to life. Whether that be favourite Birmingham City moment videos or Top 5 videos, for example, we’re all ears.
Streamer – With streaming more popular than ever, we are looking for experienced streamers to join our team and be able to be involved in live match watchalongs. You will have access to our YouTube channel, have a chance to put forward your ideas for streams, and be a part of a buzzing channel.
Social Media Operator
As our socials are ever-growing, we are now looking for a Social Media Operator to help us not only grow our channels even further but more importantly, engage our following with unique and appropriate posts. We are looking for someone who can help run our Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok pages specifically.
For this role you would need the following:
- Sufficient experience with social media
- Knowledge of Birmingham City Football Club and to tailor all posts to the events that happen at the club
- To be able to write in clear English
- The ability to engage our audience with your posts
- The knowledge of when and when not to post and use of appropriate hashtags
